SARS Membrane protein Recombinant
$500.00 – $1,800.00
accession | P59596 |
Source | DNA sequence encoding immunodominant fragment of SARS Membrane protein was expressed in Escherichia Coli. |
Molecular weight | Recombinant SARS M encodes the immunodominant sequences of the SARS Membrane E1 glycoprotein. Recombinant SARS E contains an N terminal GST purification tag and migrates as an approximately 30 kDa protein under non-reducing conditions and reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE. |
Purity | >95%, as determined by SDS-PAGE. |
Applications | SARS antigen is suitable for ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for detection of SARS with minimal specificity problems. |
Presentation | Lyophilized from 50mM Tris-HCl, 60mM NaCl and 50% glycerol. |
Reconstitution | A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers. |
Storage | The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20° C. Upon reconstitution, this protein can be stored in working aliquots at 2° - 8° C for one month, or at -20° C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. |
Usage | This product is for research purposes only.It may not be used for therapeutics or diagnostic purposes. |
Biological Process | Host-virus-interaction |
