Epstein-Barr Virus EBNA1 Recombinant
$800.00 – $1,100.00
accession | P03211 |
Source | DNA sequence encoding immunodominant fragment of Epstein-Barr nuclear antigen 1 expressed in Escherichia Coli. |
Molecular weight | Recombinant EBV EBNA-1 encodes the immunodominant sequences of theEpstein-Barr Virus nuclear antigen 1protein. Recombinant EBV EBNA1 contains an N terminal GST purification tag and migrates as an approximately 46 kDa protein under non-reducing conditions and reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE. |
Purity | >95%, as determined by SDS-PAGE. |
Applications | Recombinant human EBV EBNA1 antigen is suitable for ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for detection of EBV with minimal specificity problems. |
Presentation | Lyophilized from 50mM Tris-HCl pH 8, 10mM glutation, 60mM NaCl and 0.5% sarcosyl. |
Reconstitution | A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers. |
Storage | The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20° C. Upon reconstitution, this protein can be stored in working aliquots at 2° - 8° C for one month, or at -20° C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. |
