Molecular weight Recombinant NCOV Spike protein B.1.1.529 encodes the NCOV spike glycoprotein S1+S2 sequences . Recombinant COV2 Spike migrates due to glycosylation as an approximately 130 kDa protein under reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE.
Activity The activity was tested by binding Human ACE2 in functional ELISA assay (see figure below).
Endotoxin Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method. Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/µg(1EU/µg).
Presentation Recombinant COVID-19 Spike was lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered PBS solution pH7.4
Reconstitution A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.
Storage The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20° C.
