Molecular weight:

Recombinant Mouse SIRP alpha  (SHPS1) is a protein consisting of 350 amino acid residue subunits,due to glycosylation migrates as an approximately as 50kDa band protein on reduced SDS-PAGE.


 
Purity:
>95%, as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC
 
Biological Activity:
The activity was determined by the ability of immobilized mouse SIRPA to bind recombinant human CD47. The ED50 was calculated to be < 70ng/ml
 
Endotoxin:
Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method.
Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/¬Ķg(1EU/¬Ķg).

 
Presentation:
Recombinant¬†Mouse¬†SIRP alpha (SHPS1) is lyophilized ¬†from 0.2 őľm filtered PBS solution, ¬†pH7.2 , ¬†5% Trehalose.

              
Reconstitution:
A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.

 
Storage:
Recombinant¬†Mouse¬†SIRP alpha (SIRPA) can be stored in working aliquots at 2¬į - 8¬į C for one month, or at -20¬įC to¬†-70¬įC¬†for twelve months.

Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Signal regulatory protein alpha

Sirpa encodes an Ig superfamily receptor expressed on macrophages, dendritic cells, and neurons. SIRPα and its ubiquitously expressed ligand CD47 interact through their respective Ig variable region (IgV)Ėlike domains . Upon binding CD47, SIRPα immunoreceptor tyrosine- based inhibition motifs mediate inhibitory signals via recruitment of the src homology-2 domain containing protein tyrosine phosphatases SHP-1 and SHP-2 leading to decreased phagocytosis by macrophages, inhibition of neutrophil migration, and attenuated production of the inflammatory cytokine TNF
