Molecular weight:

Recombinant mouse c-MET is a heteredimer protein consisting of alpha and beta chains and contains 915 amino acid residue subunits,due to glycosylation  and cleavage migrates as an approximately 45kDa(alpha chain) and 85kDa(beta chain) bands protein on reduced SDS-PAGE.


 
Purity:
>95%, as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC
 
Biological activity:
The activity was tested by the ability of immobilized recombinant human HGF to bind recombinant mouse MET (HGFR), the calculated ED50 is 2ug/ml
 
Endotoxin:
Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method.
Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/µg(1EU/µg).

 
Presentation:
Recombinant Mouse c-MET is lyophilized  from 0.2 μm filtered PBS solution,  pH7.2 ,  5% Trehalose.

              
Reconstitution:
A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.

 
Storage:
Recombinant mouse HGF receptor can be stored in working aliquots at 2° - 8° C for one month, or at -20°C to -70°C for twelve months.

Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

 
Usage:
This product is for research purposes only.It may not be used for therapeutics or diagnostic purposes.

 

c-MET

Hepatocyte growth factor/scatter factor c-met signaling pathway (HGF/SF- Met) supports diverse biological processes including development, proliferation, scattering, and branching morphogenesis . HGF/SF-Met signaling is also of critical importance in tumorigenesis, particularly in the invasive and metastatic stages. The receptor encoded by the c- met gene is a disulfide linked α/β heterodimer that is generated by proteolytic processing of a single polypeptide precursor. It has been demonstrated that the activation of the multiple signal transduction pathways downstream of c-met takes place via the multidocking site, a short sequence motif near the C terminus of the β chain
