   Size C      1000ug  $ 1950
Domain  :  Ig-like C2
Gene  :  CD31
Catalog no. :  RKP162841

Source:
Optimized DNA sequence encoding extracellular domain of human CD31 including a C-terminal 6His tag was expressed in HEK293 cells.

Molecular weight:

Recombinant CD31 is a homodimer protein consisting of 812 amino acid residue subunits,  due to glycosylation migrates as an approximately 140 kDa protein on SDS-PAGE.

Purity:
>95%, as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC

Biological Activity:
Recombinant Human CD31 activity was determined by its ability to support the adhesion of Jurkat human leukemic T cells. When cells are added to recombinant human CD31 coated plates ( 3.3 μg/mL , 100 μL/well ) in the presence of PMA , approximately 50% - 65% will adhere specifically after 30 minutes at 37℃

Endotoxin:
Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method.
Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/µg(1EU/µg).

Presentation:
Recombinant human CD31  is supplied as a 0.2 μm filtered PBS solution,  pH7.2 .

Storage:
Recombinant CD31, as supplied, can be stored in working aliquots at 2° - 8° C for one month, or at -20°C to -70°C for twelve months.

Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Usage:
This product is for research purposes only.It may not be used for therapeutics or diagnostic purposes.

CD31

Platelet/endothelial cell adhesion molecule 1, also known as CD31, is a member of the Ig gene superfamily expressed at high density at the lateral borders of endothelial cells and at a lower density on the surface of hematopoietic cells including T lymphocytes. By establishing homophilic interactions between endothelium- and leukocyte- expressed CD31, this molecule has been shown to facilitate leukocyte transendothelial migration (TEM) in vitro and in vivo.
